Who we are
Carry the One Math is a service of Inside Out Method LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company ("we" and "us" on this page).
Who can enroll
You must be a parent or legal guardian, at least 18 years old, enrolling your own child. Teachers, tutors and schools: please reach out first, since the program and pricing are built for families.
What the program is
Carry the One Math gives your family printable math pages planned for your child, reads the finished pages you send us, and plans what comes next. A parent or guardian supervises the work at home.
We are not a school, and we don't replace your child's teacher. The check-up shows us where to start in our program. It is not a school test, and it does not diagnose learning differences or any medical condition. Every child learns at their own pace, so we can't promise particular results.
Price and billing
- The check-up is free. The first month of weekly packets is free too: it starts the day your first child's check-up is done, once per family, and no payment details are needed. When it ends, new packets pause unless you start a membership.
- The program is $20 a month for the first child and $15 a month for each of up to three brothers or sisters in the same household. A fifth child or more is $20 a month each.
- You can pay monthly, or yearly at ten months' price: $200 a year for the first child, $150 for each of up to three brothers or sisters, and $200 for a fifth child or more.
- You're billed ahead of each month or year, until you cancel. The check-up is free; a child counts once their packets start. A child added to a monthly membership is charged their share of the rest of that month when their packets start, and the full price from the next bill. A child added to a yearly membership pays the monthly price for the months left until the renewal, charged right away, and joins the yearly price at the renewal.
- You can cancel any time. You won't be charged again, and your child's pages keep coming until the end of the month or year you've paid for. We don't refund partial months or years.
- If a payment doesn't go through, pages keep coming for 7 days while the card is retried. After that they pause until the card is updated.
- If we change our prices, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you.
Referrals and creator codes
- A paying family can share its own referral link. When a new family signs up with it and pays its first bill, both families get a credit worth one month of their own price, taken off their next bill.
- A creator's or partner's code works the same way for the new family. Creators are paid under a separate agreement with us.
- Credits come off future bills. They have no cash value and can't be transferred.
- One referral per new family, and not for your own household. A family can earn up to 12 free months a year from referrals.
- If you share your link publicly, please say that you get a free month for it.
- We may change or end the referral program at any time. Credits already earned stay.
Your part
- Give us accurate information, and keep your email address current.
- Keep your child's private link to yourself.
- Use the pages for your own family. Please don't sell, post or share them.
- Only send photos of your child's math pages. Don't include anyone's face or other personal details.
Our content
The pages, website, logo and planning system belong to Carry the One Math. Enrolling gives you a personal right to use your child's pages at home. It doesn't give you ownership of them.
Our skills are organized around the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. Things outside our control
We work hard to read every answer correctly and plan well, and a page we're unsure about waits for you to check, and you can fix any answer we read for two weeks after it's recorded. The program is provided as it is, without promises beyond the ones on this page. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the program
You can cancel at any time. We may suspend or end an enrollment that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why. See our privacy policy for what happens to your child's information after you leave.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you before the change takes effect. Continuing in the program after that means you accept the new terms.
